PAU student bags research grant in US

Ludhiana: Gundeep Kaur, a student of the department of processing and food engineering at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has secured a fully-funded graduate research assistant position for her doctorate research at the State University of New York - College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF), USA. She will work on sustainable production of biodegradable bioplastics from dairy waste, a project funded by the US department of agriculture (USDA), under the mentorship of Dr. Deepak Kumar, assistant professor at the US varsity. tnn
