With the aim to increase the voting rate by enabling migrant voters to vote from their residing state, Election Commission of India (EC) is all set to introduce Remote Electronic Voting Machines (RVM). The Opposition party leaders arrived at Delhi’s Constitutional Club on January 15 to hold discussion over the same. A discussion on the joint strategy over the new EVM issues will take place at the meeting. The EC has also called on major national and regional political parties to show the demonstration of the machines on January 16.
