PUNE: A family of four - a man aged 59, his wife (45), and their son (24) and daughter (17) - were found dead in their house at Keshavnagar in Mundhwa on Friday night, police said. The police suspect the case to be one of death by suicide.
Senior inspector Ajit Lakade of the Mundhwa police station said, "We prima facie suspect that the family consumed a poisonous chemical to end their lives. We have seized a laptop and a mobile phone from the house for an analysis. The family had shifted to Mundhwa from Amravati four months ago."
He said the neighbours had told the police that the family was facing some "problem", but he could not elaborate.
