Team of scientists inspects Joshimath land subsidence affected area
A team of engineers on January 14 inspected Joshimath in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli, where land subsidence has occurred. The team conducted a physical inspection at houses where cracks have appeared due to land subsidence and pasted warning posters in the houses which are unusable. “Assessment of the 4000 buildings in 9 wards in Joshimath being done.
