RLP chief attacks CM, Raje over paper leaks in 10 years
Jaipur: Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) chief and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal on Friday accused chief minister Ashok Gehlot and former CM Vasundhara Raje responsible for more than a dozen paper leaks in the last 10 years.
In a press conference, Beniwal said, “Every paper leak follows the same pattern. The suspected role of a minister, MLAs and bureaucrats. The investigation agency goes silent with time burying the matter by cracking down on small fish in the case. In such a situation, the government needs to get such cases investigated by the CBI, but the government withdraws from the CBI investigation!”
Launching an attack on the involvement of the CMO, Beniwal said, “Suresh Dhaka, the mastermind of the recent senior teacher recruitment paper leak case, former official posted in the CMO Amit Dhaka were known to each other for long. Is this connection doesn’t need to be probed? The investigation agencies should investigate the matter to unveil the truth.”
He announced three protests. One against the paper leak on January 17 in Jaipur, another against the sand mafia in Barmer on January 19 and third one against discom managing director in Ajmer on January 20.
Beniwal attacked the Gehlot government over the deteriorating law and order situation in the state and called the state on ‘ventilator’. “Neither the government is handling the rise in crimes against women nor able to stop paper leaks. It seems that lawlessness has prevailed in the state with no respite for the people,” said Beniwal.
