Wife arrested for ‘killing’ armyman in Jharkhand's Gumla

GUMLA: A day after an armyman was axed to death, police on Friday arrested his wife Budheshwari Devi and her friend Vinay Lakra (30) for allegedly killing him.
Parna Oraon (42) who had come home at Khoro Jamtoli village on leave on January 5, was killed on Wednesday. The police said Budheshwari confessed to killing him. Gumla sub-divisional Manish Chandra Lal said the woman had an affair with Lakra. “The couple had an argument on Wednesday and the wife hit him in the head with a rod. He was bleeding profusely and died on way to a hospital,” Lal added.
