Loan mela for ‘pravasis’

Thiruvananthapuram: The Non Resident Keralite's Affairs (NORKA) department will organize a loan mela in association with the SBI for the expatriates who have returned after losing their jobs.
The mela will be held from January 19 to 21 at the SBI branch near the Thycaud guest house.
Those who have worked for more than two years outside the country, and have lost their jobs can attend the mela. The NORKA will provide a loan upto Rs 30 lakh depending upon the investment units.
The loan mela is being organised as part of the state government’s initiative NORKA Department Project for Returned Emigrants.
