Veterans have protected unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country: Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on January 14 visited Shaurya Sthal War Memorial in Dehradun on the occasion of 7th Armed Forces Veterans’ Day. Speaking at the event, Rajnath Singh said that veterans have protected unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country. Rajnath Singh said, “Whenever this country has needed, the bravehearts of Uttarakhand have displayed their indomitable courage and valour to protect the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country. They have protected the dignity of our country. There's a dedicated department in Ministry of Defence for the welfare of veterans. Ex welfare serviceman is the secretary of the Department. This shows what is the responsivity of the nation towards veterans.”
