Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.35% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:19AM(IST)on Friday in a weak market.

Phoenix Mills(up 0.52 per cent) and Godrej Properties(up 0.29 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Prestige Estates Projects(down 1.88 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 1.28 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.87 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 0.45 per cent) and DLF(down 0.43 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.35 per cent at 423.65 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 56.0 points at 17802.2, while the BSE Sensex was down 225.71 points at 59732.32.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 25 were trading in the green, while 25 were in the red.

Shares of , PNB, , IOB and Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Uma Converter Ltd., , Upsurge Seeds of Agriculture Ltd., Homesfy Realty Ltd. and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Anlon Technology ., Consol Const., , & and . hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
