
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 303.15 points up at 60261.18 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Music Broadcast(down 19.85 per cent), SecUR Credentials(down 10.36 per cent), Roni Households(down 9.84 per cent), Shristi Infra(down 9.77 per cent) and NEO Infracon(down 9.03 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 37 stocks closed in the green, while 13 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 98.4 points up at 17956.6.
On the BSE, , , , and Aveer Foods Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , , Insolation , and touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
