AgenciesNEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 2335.82 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1737.42 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 972.61 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 931.40 crore), HDFC(Rs. 882.12 crore), HCL Tech(Rs. 877.80 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 845.05 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 828.67 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 738.94 crore) and Kotak Bank(Rs. 706.63 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 98.4 points up at 17956.6, while BSE Sensex rose 303.15 points to 60261.18.
In the Nifty index, .(up 2.09 per cent), .(up 2.03 per cent), .(up 1.99 per cent), .(up 1.89 per cent) and .(up 1.56 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, .(down 1.20 per cent), .(down 0.56 per cent), .(down 0.45 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 0.33 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 0.29 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
