3 drug addicts run over by train in Kota
Kota: Three persons were run over by a moving train on Mumbai-Delhi railway tracks near Borekheda overbridge under Nayapura police station here on Thursday morning. The three deceased were suspected drug addicts engaged in stealing iron materials from construction sites.
Two of them were identified as Jagdish Meena (35), a resident of Sultanpura, and Ratanlal Soni (35) of Chechat area in Kota district while the identity of the third is yet to be ascertained, circle inspector of Nayapura police station Rajendra Singh said.
Initially inquiry suggested the three deceased were drug addicts and had left their respective homes long ago and were engaged in stealing iron materials from construction sites, he said.
He said, pieces of iron rods were found scattered around the mutilated bodies that suggested the three had stolen iron from an under construction site. tnn
