Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(number of shares traded: 7.07 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.19 crore), FSN E-Comm()(number of shares traded: 1.80 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.57 crore), Bank of Maharashtra(number of shares traded: 1.51 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 1.36 crore), IOB(number of shares traded: 1.31 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 1.25 crore), NALCO(number of shares traded: 1.11 crore) and Ltd.(number of shares traded: 1.00 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 09:59AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 8.8 points down at 17886.9, while BSE Sensex was down 37.88 points at 60067.62 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 1.68 per cent), .(up 1.57 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.31 per cent), .(up 1.24 per cent) and .(up 0.89 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.02 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent), .(down 1.15 per cent), .(down 0.91 per cent) and .(down 0.68 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
