Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.13% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:19AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market.

Brigade Enterprises(up 0.87 per cent), SOBHA(up 0.83 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.78 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.76 per cent) and DLF(up 0.34 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 1.07 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 0.87 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.4 per cent), Sunteck Realty(down 0.39 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 0.29 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.13 per cent at 424.4 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 56.8 points at 17838.9, while the BSE Sensex was down 209.43 points at 59896.07.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 17 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, , , and FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Cool Caps Industries Ltd., , Radaan Media, and Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Mangalam Worldwide Ltd., , Nureca Ltd., Sintex Inds. and Elin Electronics Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
