Maruti Suzuki Jimny, Fronx bookings open: Company announces to claim No.1 SUV spot soon!

On Day 2 of the Auto Expo 2023, Maruti Suzuki unveiled two new SUVs - the all-new Fronx (YTB) crossover SUV and the Jimny 5-door SUV. The brand has commenced the bookings for the Fronx and Jimny SUVs from today. Interested customers can pre-book any of the SUVs through the official website or at their nearest Nexa showroom.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx (YTB)
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is a compact SUV that gets a sporty silhouette with upright front and rear fascia, roof rails and a wide bonnet. Other SUV elements include muscular fenders and side body cladding.
At the front, it has received the signature NEXWave grille and signature NEXTre crystal block DRLs and more. The rear gets a sculpted upright profile accentuated by sweeping LED tail-lamps running across the width of the vehicle. It sits on dual-finish precision cut alloy wheels.
The all-new Fronx compact SUV gets the Black and Bordeaux contrasting colour scheme. In terms of interior, the Fronx has received a metal-like matte finish on the dashboard that is further accentuated by glossy silver inserts.
Customers can choose from the two engine options - the all-new 1.0L K-series Turbo Boosterjet Direct Injection with Smart Hybrid technology and a 1.2L K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT. The Fronx with Turbo Boosterjet engine gets a 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters. On the other hand, the 1.2-litre K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine offers Idle Start Stop technology and transmission options include a 5-speed manual and AGS.

Powered by Suzuki’s ALLGRIP PRO (4WD) technology, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door SUV has been unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023. The Jimny (5-door) is unveiled to the world today and will be introduced in India first, followed by Suzuki’s global markets, says Maruti.
The Jimny is built on the 4 essentials of an off-road machine – Ladder Frame Chassis, Ample Body Angles, 3- link rigid axle suspension and ALLGRIP PRO (4WD) with low range transfer gear (4L mode).
On the inside, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door SUV is equipped with a 9.0-inch Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system with HD display and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The Infotainment system also boasts a sound system powered by a “Surround Sense” powered by “ARKAMYS”.
