AgenciesNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 147.47 points down at 59958.03 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Healthy Life Agritec Ltd.(down 12.18 per cent), (down 9.98 per cent), Delton Cables(down 9.78 per cent), Otco Intnl(down 9.74 per cent) and Innovassynth Inv(down 9.11 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 24 stocks closed in the green, while 25 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 37.5 points down at 17858.2.
On the BSE, , , Sword-ECommer, and Aveer Foods Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sah ., , , and Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
