Jaipur: Social
justice and empowerment minister Tikaram Jully during his first interaction with the general public through Facebook Live on Wednesday, apart from addressing problems and grievances of beneficiaries of the departmental schemes, also received complaints related to land grabbing, jail department, non-payment of unemployment allowance (employment department) and issues related to health and labour departments.
The minister assured them of solving their issues as well and asked them to send the details to the department through email or by writing in the comment box. He also shared the contact number for calling during the ‘Jan Sunwai’ through Facebook Live - 8233169366.
He solved the issue of one Santosh from Alwar district whose scholarship amount of Rs 52,000 was yet to be credited to her account. Even though officials of the department said the amount was disbursed on November 22, the complainant, Babulal, insisted the money was not deposited in her SBI account. Later, it was found the beneficiary was a minor when the account was opened and the scholarship amount must have returned to the payer’s account. The minister assured him of getting the payment made by Thursday.
Ram Vilas Saini, a farmer from Bassi tehsil of Jaipur district, called up to complain about land grabbing by patwaris and not letting him do farming in his own agricultural land. He also alleged the police refused to register an FIR in the case and that he was forced to move court. The minister asked him to write his complaint in the comment box and said he would get it checked.
The minister assured Manish of Jodhpur district that the central share (60%) of his college scholarship would be disbursed soon as it was being delayed by the Centre. The state’s share (40%) was already disbursed.
