Moreover, the Carabao Cup semi-finals will be split into two legs, with each team playing one leg at home. The first legs will occur in the week of January 23, while the second legs will occur in the week of January 30, a week later. If a semi-final is tied after both games, extra time and, if necessary, penalties will be used to break the tie.

The two winners of the semi-finals will compete in the final on February 26, 2023 at Wembley.
