Keep tabs on kids: SMS hosp to parents

Jaipur: Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital has appealed to the people to keep a watch on their children during the kite flying season. Many incidents of kids falling from rooftop and road accidents of children chasing falling kites are normally reported in the beginning of January. “We are receiving patients including children who got injured due to kite flying. Such injuries can be averted if parents take proper precautions and ensure safety of their children,” said Dr Achal Sharma, superintendent, SMS Hospital. “A lot of patients require surgeries. Due to fall from the rooftops, neurosurgeons have to operate them to save their lives,” said Dr Sharma.
