Two kids die after falling into sump

Belagavi: Two kindergarten kids playing near an under-construction building died after falling into a sump accidentally.
Water was stored for the building construction when on Tuesday noon the children were playing.
The accidental deaths were reported from Gurhosur in Savadatti taluk.
The deceased kids have been identified as Shlok Shambhulingappa Gudi and Chidanand Prakash Salunkhe, both four years old and studying in the nursery class of the local Pragati Primary School.
Police rushed to the spot immediately and conducted an inquiry.
According to police sources, the kids fell into the open sump filled with water. The incident occurred during school time. A case has been registered in Savadatti police station.
