Thiruvananthapuram: Medical College police have registered a case against notorious goon Puthenpalam Rajesh for threatening an ambulance driver, and few others at the Medical College hospital premises.
According to police, Rajesh, who came in a Toyota Fortuner car, parked the vehicle in front of an ambulance at the hospital premises. The driver of the ambulance asked him to move the car as he had to take the vehicle out. However, Rajesh was annoyed by it and threatened the ambulance driver with a knife. Rajesh also threatened people who intervened in the issue, police said.
By the time the police reached the spot, he had escaped. From the CCTV footage the police have identified the vehicle number. It is owned by a woman and the vehicle has been taken into custody. The police have intensified search for Rajesh after registering a case under section 506 of IPC for criminal intimidation.
