JAIPUR: Jaipur boy Vaibhav Maheshwari secured AIR 10 in the CA Final exam, scoring 589 out of 800 marks, when results were released on Tuesday. Six other students from the city also secured ranks in the top 50.
In the Intermediate exam, Jaipur student Saksham Jain, who scored 672 out of 800 marks, secured AIR 3.
In the Jaipur region, a total of 833 students appeared for Group 1 and 906 students for Group 2 of the CA Final exam. The pass percentage for students for both groups stood at 17.99%.
Along with chartered accountancy, 22-year-old Maheshwari was also doing B.Com from Commerce College, University of Rajasthan. "In my Intermediate examination, I missed the AIR 50 rank by 15 marks. But now, securing AIR 10 in CA Final is unbelievable. I am at a loss of words, and it still feels like a dream that I cleared all the exams in one go," Vaibhav said.
The 22-year-old took up CA inspired by his elder brother, who is also in the same profession. Vaibhav, whose mother is a homemaker and father runs a restaurant in the city, is planning to take up a job while exploring options to study further.

Mitali Khandelwal (AIR 18), Yogesh Lakhotia (AIR 20), Khushal Khandelwal (AIR 23), Niharika Jain (AIR 25), Prashant Goyal (AIR 28) and Shreyansh Jain (AIR 37) are the other who made it to the top 50 from the city.For the Intermediate exam, a total of 823 students appeared for group 1 and 846 for group 2 from the Jaipur region. The pass percentage for students who passed both groups stood at 19.63%.
