Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 10:45AM

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 4.61%), Rama Phosphates(up 2.53%), G S F C(up 2.06%), & Petrochemicals(up 1.85%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 1.33%), Aries Agro(up 1.27%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.02%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 0.94%), Fertilizers (up 0.76%) and Madras Fertlizers(up 0.72%) were among the top gainers.

National Fertilizer(down 0.91%), & Fertilizers(down 0.47%), Coromandel International(down 0.37%), Agro Phos(down 0.35%) and & Fertilizers(down 0.12%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 37.9 points up at 17952.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 161.27 points at 60276.75 at around 10:45AM.

Hindalco Industries(up 2.02%), Tata Consultancy(up 1.77%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.7%), Infosys(up 1.32%), JSW Steel(up 1.25%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.17%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.15%), HCL Technologies(up 1.07%), HDFC Bank(up 0.89%) and Tata Motors(up 0.86%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bharti Airtel(down 3.13%), Cipla(down 2.65%), Enterprises(down 1.54%), Divis Laboratories(down 1.1%), Adani Enterprises(down 1.07%), Eicher Motors(down 1.0%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.94%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.94%), Reliance Industries(down 0.73%) and Grasim Industries(down 0.71%) were trading in the red.
