Bike-borne criminals fire at HURL official’s Sindri house

Dhanbad: Two bike-borne criminals fired four shots at the residence of the HR manager of Hindustan Urvarak and Rasayan Ltd. (HURL), Vikrant Kumar, at Sindri on late Monday evening.
According to the FIR lodged with Sindri police, two bike-borne criminals reached the residence of Kumar at around 7pm on Monday and fired four shots, threatening him of dire consequences. Kumar’s wife and his child were enjoying bonfire in the verandah of the house, when the criminals started abusing Kumar.
In his complaint, Kumar said he did not have any animosity with anyone.
Suresh Prasad, the inspector in-charge of Sindri police station, said, “Police have recovered three used and one live cartridges from outside the residence of the manager. A case has been lodged against two unknown persons on the basis of the written complaint by Vikrant Kumar. Further probe is on.”
Tisra police have lodged a case against Eklavya Singh, Satyam Ritolia and Raju Khan in the case related to firing on Avinash Singh alias Sonu on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday on the basis of a written complaint by his brother, Rahul Kumar Singh.
