‘Don’t fly kites near Dabolim airport’

Margao: The South Goa district magistrate has directed the public to refrain from flying kites or any such objects in the vicinity of Goa International Airport at Dabolim. The collector said, “Instances of kites/objects being flown near or within the airport boundary have serious implications on flight safety. When the aircraft is in the critical phase of landing or take-off, presence of objects is considered detrimental.”
