
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 631.83 points down at 60115.48 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Royal India Corp(down 20.00 per cent), Ducon Infra(down 19.94 per cent), Trio Mercantile(down 10.62 per cent), Mukat Pipes(down 10.00 per cent) and MPDL(down 9.96 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 15 stocks closed in the green, while 35 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 187.05 points down at 17914.15.
On the BSE, , ., , and Aveer Foods Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , Sky Gold, , Ltd. and touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
