The NSE Nifty index traded 141.75 points down at 17959.45, while BSE Sensex was down 516.62 points at 60230.69 as of 11:06AM(IST)on January 10.
In the Nifty index, .(up 6.15 per cent), .(up 0.94 per cent), .(up 0.87 per cent), .(up 0.77 per cent) and Mahindra & .(up 0.74 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, .(down 2.20 per cent), .(down 2.09 per cent), .(down 2.00 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.79 per cent) and .(down 1.68 per cent) were among the top losers.
