FIH Hockey World Cup: Cuttack Police beefs up security ahead of inaugural ceremony

Men's FIH Hockey World Cup 2023 will start from January 13 in Cuttack. Ahead of the inaugural ceremony, security was beefed up in the area. Speaking to ANI DCP Cuttack Pinak Mishra said that around 200 officers have been deployed for smooth management. “We are preparing for the upcoming celebrations. Every security aspect is being looked into. We've deployed around 200 officers for smooth management. Many celebrities will be performing in the stadium. We have made special arrangements for them,” said Pinak Mishra, DCP, Cuttack.
