Kanpur: Adarsh Singh and Samanvay Dixit’s fine performance helped Kanpur Cricket Association (KCA) XI beat
Mathura by 6 wickets in the final of Maharaja Tej Singh memorial state-level cricket championship which concluded in Mainpuri on Monday.
The Mathura team, batting first, posted a total of 9 for 168 in 25 overs. Kartik Sharma scored the highest 35 runs for his team and Samanvay Dixit of KCA bagged 3 wickets.
KCA XI in reply hit the required 169 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 22 overs and won the match. Adarsh Singh played a fine knock of 80 runs. After the match, Adarsh Singh was adjudged as man of the match while his team mate Satnam Singh was declared as player of the tournament.
