The NSE Nifty index traded 204.0 points up at 18063.45, while BSE Sensex was up 691.57 points at 60591.94 as of 10:14AM(IST)on January 09.
In the Nifty index, .(up 3.14 per cent), .(up 2.83 per cent), .(up 2.42 per cent), Mahindra & .(up 2.38 per cent) and .(up 2.34 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, .(down 1.70 per cent), .(down 0.03 per cent), .(down 0.05 per cent), .(down 0.10 per cent) and .(down 0.18 per cent) were among the top losers.
