Kanpur: The police have arrested three persons in connection with the murder that took place on September 29 in Parsauli area of the district.
According to the police, the murder was the fallout of a property dispute.
The police, after producing the accused in court, later sent them to jail on Sunday.
The police said that one Bajrangi alias Veeru Maurya was brutally attacked on September 29 in Parsauli area following a dispute over a plot located in Ajitganj area of Babupurwa allegedly by Raju Agarwal, Pankaj Kanaujiya and Yogesh Savita.
Bajrangi was admitted to hospital, where he succumbed on the next day on September 30.
“The accused Raju Agarwal, Pankaj Kanaujiya and Yogesh Savita, were arrested by the police on Sunday. The accused confessed to their involvement in the incident, after which they were presented in the court, from where they have been sent to jail,” said DCP South Pramod Kumar.
