Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(up 8.83%), PTC India(up 4.98%), Suzlon Energy-Partly Pd up Right Is(up 3.33%), Inox Wind Energy(up 3.20%), Gujarat Industries Power(up 2.42%), JSW Energy(up 2.17%), Suzlon Energy(up 1.96%), Adani Power(up 1.96%), ADANIGREEN(up 1.84%) and Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.68%) were among the top gainers.
Jyoti Structures(down 4.95%), Alstom T&D India(down 1.62%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures(down 1.35%), Transmission(down 0.83%), CESC(down 0.79%), Energy Development Company(down 0.79%), Karma Energy(down 0.54%) and NHPC(down 0.13%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 244.55 points up at 18104.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 845.44 points at 60745.81 at around 11:16AM.
Mahindra & Mahindra(up 3.4%), Tata Consultancy(up 3.07%), Tech Mahindra(up 3.03%), Bharti Airtel(up 2.6%), Tata Motors(up 2.59%), Infosys(up 2.51%), Wipro(up 2.28%), IndusInd Bank(up 2.23%), HCL Technologies(up 2.15%) and Reliance Industries(up 2.05%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd(down 1.64%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.16%) and Eicher Motors(down 0.13%) were trading in the red.
