Anurag Thakur's dig at Congress government in Rajasthan

Union minister Anurag Thakur took a dig at the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government in Rajasthan during his visit to Udaipur. "In recent years, we have witnessed crimes against women and atrocities against certain sections of society ... the gross inaction by authorities and inappropriate comments by some state leaders have let our heads down," Thakur said. He said the law and order situation is crumbling in the state which can impact tourism and eventually lead to unemployment. Thakur also slammed the high fuel rates in the state, pointing out that the new Congress government in Himachal Pradesh also hiked petrol/diesel prices in the hill state by Rs 3.5 shortly after coming to power.
