Two youngsters end life in Mysuru

Mysuru/ Mandya: An engineer working in a multinational corporation allegedly committed suicide in Hebbal I stage in the city. He was found hanging in his room. Police said the deceased has been identified as Rahul V. The incident came to light when he didn’t pick up the calls from his friends and parents on Saturday. This forced people in his neighbourhood to check up on him.The body was handed over to the family on Sunday after a post-mortem. The police registered UDR in connection with the incident. They are yet to ascertain the reason for the incident.
Meanwhile, this is the second case reported within the station limits in the last two days. On Friday, another engineer identified as Yatheesh, 25, was also found dead at his home. He allegedly committed suicide by hanging, police said.
Woman suffers fatal fall from train
A woman died after falling from a moving train. The accident occurred between Hanakere Railway Station and Maddur Railway Station in Mandya district, said the police. The Railway Police suspect it to be a case of suicide. Police said the unidentified woman is believed to be around 40 years old. It is not clear from which train she jumped to her death. Mysuru Railway Police have registered a case of unnatural death and initiated a probe.
