Man, his three friends stab ex-girlfriend's new lover to death in Kalyan

KALYAN: Upset over his girlfriend leaving him for another, a man and his three friends stabbed the woman's new lover to death in Kalyan on Saturday night.
While main accused Lalit Ujjainkar has fled to Madhya Pradesh, the local Kolsewadi police have arrested one of his accomplices. Two other accomplices in the crime are also on the run.
Deceased Aditya Bar was a resident of Govandi area in Kalyan. Police said the girlfriend, Kiran Sonwane, a resident of Diva area in Thane, was earlier in love with Lalit, but the two broke up and she later fell for Aditya.
On the day of the murder, Kiran had visited Lalit's house to get her puppy back which she had earlier left with him; she was accompanied by Aditya. However, Lalit had also invited his three friends, and when Kiran and Aditya reached his place, a fight broke out between them. Lalit and his friends took on Aditya over having an affair with Kiran, but verbal spat soon turned ugly, and Lalit and his friends stabbed Aditya to death.
After the incident was reported to police, four separate teams were formed to nab the accused. While one of them was caught, two teams of police are camping in Nepa Nagar in Madhya Pradesh to nab the remaining three accused.
