Three killed as tanker rams into bike on NH-26 in Odisha

BHUBANESWAR: Three men were killed when a speeding oil tanker rammed into the trio’s motorbike near Pastikudi village in Bhawanipatna under Kalahandi Sadar police station limits on NH-26 on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Tutu Gouda, Raghunath Gouda and Akshay Kumar Gouda, all belonging to Rakabahali village, according to reports. Sources said that the three were returning home after playing in a cricket match at Utkela village when the mishap occurred.
Following the mishap, locals and the family members of the deceased blocked the accident site with the three bodies. “The situation, however, is now under control,” Rashmita Pradhan, the inspector in-charge of Sadar police station, said.
