Release status report on budget promises, Poonia tells Congress

Jaipur: State BJP president Satish Poonia has asked CM Ashok Gehlot to release a status report on all four budgetary announcements made by his government.
In the concluding session of the Jan Aakrosh Rally at Amber constituency, Poonia said that Gehlot’s name will go into the annals of history for making unfulfilled announcements. “People have the right to know how many budgetary announcements made in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 were fulfilled before they made another set of announcements in 2023,” said Poonia.
He claimed that the state budget for 2023 is also going to be full of fake and false promises being the election year. “They are going to make tall claims in the budget which will not hit the ground ever. We will ask the people to be careful of their lucrative promises like they made in four previous budgets,” said Poonia.
Raising the issue of paper leaks, he said that in all 16 paper leaks have a common pattern in which a government employee is involved. This clearly indicates the involvement of Congress leaders. “Paper after paper is being leaked which indicates government has no control over elements involved in paper leaks. People have lost confidence in the government. They have no right to remain in the power,” said Poonia.
On the controversial order by ACB to stop revealing the names of the arrested accused, Poonia alleged that the order was designed by CM Ashok Gehlot.
