4 dead, 10 hurt as bus rams into truck on Agra-Lucknow Expressway

KANPUR: At least four people were killed and 10 others injured when a private sleeper bus rammed into a stationary potato-laden DCM truck from behind on Agra-Lucknow Expressway on Monday morning.
The bus was heading from Rajkot in Gujarat to Lakhimpur Kheri.
On the information of the accident, DM, SP and other officers went to the spot and supervised the rescue work.
The accident took place near the 268km milestone close to Auras Toll plaza around 4am due to poor visibility following dense fog.
The deceased included three men and one woman.
Of the 10 people who were injured in the accident, nine were taken to Lucknow trauma center for treatment, while one other to Unnao district hospital.
Police are trying to identify the deceased.
