MUMBAI: Police on Sunday arrested a 29-year-old mentally challenged and unemployed drug addict who allegedly made a hoax call to the control room about a bomb at Delhi Darbar restaurant in Colaba.
Police on Sunday arrested Govind Yadav under IPC sections. Police said he made the call after a quarrel outside the hotel. V P Road police said he called the control room around 3am stating that a bomb had been placed at the restaurant.
The bomb detection and disposal squad and police personnel along with a dog squad carried out a thorough check but nothing suspicious was found, police said. Police tracked down the accused within an hour.
