Teen hurt after metal railing falls on him at road repair site

Thane: An 18-year-old boy sustained injuries when a part of metal railing fell on him at an under construction site on Friday near Khaergaon toll naka. The injured identified as Deepak Brijiya, is a native of Jharkand, and was working at the construction site of road widening work, said Avinash Sawant, official at Regional disaster Management cell of Thane Municipal corporation. The work is being undertaken by MSRDC. It was around 3 pm, when the metal die fell on him. Soon an onlooker called up the RDMC cell of the TMC and the team of local firemen rescued him. He suffered minor injuries in the incident and he has been admitted to Kalwa civic hospital for treatment, said the official. TNN
