Centre ranks Aska as one of 3 best police stations in country

Berhampur: Aska police station in Ganjam district has been ranked as one of the best three police stations in the country for 2022 by the Union ministry of home affairs (MHA).
Tarun Kumar, joint director and conference secretary, Intelligence Bureau, wrote to Odisha DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal about the selection of Aska police station. Union home minister Amit Shah will hand over the trophy to the inspector in-charge of Aska police station in New Delhi on January 20.
Chief minister Naveen took to twitter to congratulate the Aska police officers. “Aska has also been declared as the best PS in CCTNS dashboard for 2022,” he tweeted
The police stations were judged on the basis of 165 parameters like crime rate, investigation and disposal of cases, infrastructure, and delivery of service. About 20% of the points are given based on feedback from citizens.
