Indore man caught with 475g of charas

Surat: A man from Indore was caught with 475 grams of charas worth Rs 71 lakh at the Niyol checkpost on Thursday night,
Police arrested Faizal Mohammad Safi Khan when he was trying to enter the city. Khan reached Surat in a bus from Indore and got down just ahead of the checkpost to avoid getting nabbed.
He was trying to walk or take an auto-rickshaw when the police stopped him for checking and found the charas on him. Khan had brought the charas from Javel alias Babloo of Indore and was supposed to deliver it to Yasin. “We are now trying to identify and nab the person who was to receive the charas. The supplier will also be nabbed. We will also investigate if Khan is involved in delivering drugs to other locations,” said a police officer.
