Gurugram reports one Covid case, positivity rate at 0.06%

GURUGRAM: One Covid case was reported in the city on Friday. The positivity rate was 0.06%. The city currently has 16 active cases. The health department collected 1,684 samples on the day, while three patients recovered from the infection.
So far, a total of 1,031 patients have died of Covid in Gurugram , of whom 705 had comorbidities.
Meanwhile, Haryana has 21 active cases at present. The positivity rate was 1% on Friday. Three patients recovered from the infection and the health authorities collected 5,184 samples for antigen and RT-PCR tests. Till now, 10,56,636 people have tested positive in Haryana since the beginning of the pandemic.
A total of 750 people got vaccinated in Haryana on Friday, of whom 96 got first doses, 96 second doses and 558 got precautionary doses. Haryana has witnessed a total of 10,714 Covid deaths till now. At present, the state has a recovery rate of 98.9%.
