6 events lined up at DotFest from Jan 15

Bhubaneswar: The capital city is set to rock with DotFest, a special rendezvous of musical and dance, food festival and more for 15 days from January 15 on the occasion of men’s hockey World Cup.
The DotFest comprises six parallel events — international food festival, Bhubaneswar live, Bhufesto, Ekamra walks, night flea market and Sebe-O-Eebe photo exhibition.
The Bhubaneswar live that will be organised every day evening from January 15 to 24 will see a bevy of Bollywood celebrities, playback singers and Odisha’s singing sensations. The road between Housing Board Square and Ram Mandir will come alive as the fest will be organised at Exhibition Ground. As the city will turn into an activity and celebration hub throughout the hockey event, there will be a lot of entertainment for the residents.
Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) mayor Sulochana Das said on the sidelines of the hockey event, Dotfest is being organised for the fans, where they can enjoy music, food, bird-watching trails and exhibitions. “It is a platform to showcase talents,” Das said.
The food exhibition is another big platform, where cuisines of 16-plus countries will be on display. There will be 35-40 food stalls, including international cuisines (especially of hockey-participating nations) at the International Food Festival. The Hotels and Restaurant Association of Odisha will organise the festival. Most of food items will be prepared at the venue.
