Govt schools to have watchmen, campus managers

Ludhiana: With the government schools sans watchmen for many years, the government has declared that these schools will get watchmen and campus managers soon. Bhagwant Mann said, “Soon the state government will recruit campus managers and watchmen for better upkeep of the schools.”
Also, students studying in government schools will be given school buses to travel within a 4km radius of the school to pick up and drop off students. The state government will soon set up 117 schools of eminence to provide quality education to the students. All the schools will have desks and separate toilets for girls and boys.
PTM to be a mega affair
There is a call for better synchronization between the parents and teachers and mega parent-teacher meetings in government schools will enable both the parents and teachers to have a better understanding of the student and to ensure holistic development of the child as per his interest.
96 principals to visit Singapore
As many as 96 teachers will visit Singapore for training. Principals will visit in batches for professional courses
