Ex-Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi's HAM(S) spokesperson held in shootout case

ARA: The spokesperson of former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi's HAM(S), Danish Rizwan, was arrested by the Jharkhand police outside Ara civil court on Thursday. Danish is among the six accused in the sensational Sushma Badaik shootout case at Sahjanand Chowk under the Argora police station area in Ranchi on December 13, 2022.
Sushma was in the news for accusing former IPS officer P S Natrajan of sexually exploiting her. However, Natrajan had been acquitted of the charges later in 2017. Danish, a resident of Tari mohalla under Town police station of Ara in Bhojpur district, was arrested by the Ranchi police with he help of the Ara police.
According to a Bhojpur police officer, Danish had to appear in a case at the Ara civil court. The Ranchi police personnel were there in civil dress and arrested Danish around 2.45pm. The police officer said Danish will be produced before the CJM court at Ara on Friday for transit remand.
The case is related to firing by some unidentified bike-borne miscreants at Sushma when she was going to the high court. Sushma had received two bullet injuries.
An FIR against six persons had been lodged at the Argora police station on December 14 last year on the statement of Sikandar Badaik, the brother of Sushma.
