Pakistan vs New Zealand 2nd Test Day 5 Live Updates: Sarfaraz Ahmed holds the key for Pakistan as the fate of the ongoing second Test against New Zealand hangs in the balance. Sarfaraz has held fort from one end, despite Pakistan losing wickets at the other. The hosts are eight wickets down, staring at yet another Test series defeat at home. Sarfaraz scored his fouth Test century to take Pakistan out of a trcky situation. Pakistan are seven wickets and need less than 50 runs to win the match and seal the series. The two players helped the hosts make a comeback after losing five wickets against the Blackcaps, who started the final day on a high by picking three wickets in the first session. The hosts had begun Day 5 at 0 for 2. They were reeling at 80 for 5 but Sarfaraz Ahmed and Saud Shakeel steadied the ship. Earlier, New Zealand declared their second innings at 277 for 5 after Tom Blundell and Michael Bracewell smashed 74 runs each.
