2 held with 17 gm brown sugar

Chatra: Police seized 17 gram of brown sugar worth around Rs 1 lakh and held two smugglers from a football ground here while they were trying to transfer the consignment to other handlers, it said on Thursday. Chatra SDPO Avinash Kumar said that they have also recovered a bike and two mobiles from them.
Chatra SP Rakesh Ranjan had received information about smugglers coming to Ramtunda football ground to supply brown sugar. “Two persons were arrested and 17gram brown sugar has been seized from them,” he said. TNN
