10-year-old found murdered in Patna

PATNA: Unknown miscreants killed a 10-year-old boy by slitting his throat in Phulwarisharif area of Patna early Tuesday morning. The body was recovered from a field in Millat Colony and sent to AIIMS-Patna for postmortem.
The deceased, Mohammad Naseem Akhtar, the son of Mohammad Sohrab Akhtar of Begusarai, lived with his parents in a rented house at Masjid Naya Tola near Betul under Phulwarisharif police station area. The boy had been missing from his house since Monday night.
Phulwarisharif police station SHO Shafique Alam said the matter was being investigated but the reason behind his murder had not been ascertained yet.
