Police announce ₹25k reward on each of 2 key suspects of paper leak

Jaipur: The Rajasthan police have announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on the information leading to the arrest of two accused involved in the senior teacher paper leak case, Suresh Dhaka and Bhupendra Saran.
The Udaipur police busted the paper leak racket on December 24 wherein as many as 46 students got the exam paper of general knowledge (GK) before the exam. Police had then arrested Sures Kumar Vishnoi, for allegedly distributing the paper amongst students inside the bus.
Vishnoi during his interrogation told the Udaipur police that he had procured paper from Saran and Dhaka. The Udaipur police constituted a special investigation team (SIT) to track down the two suspects but in vain.
Police searched Saran’s house in Jaipur, only to find that the accused was also involved in selling forged marksheets to students.
Police suspect that Saran and Dhaka plotted the paper leak scheme about a fortnight before the exam and they also played a leading role in selling papers to students for Rs 10 lakh.
“The arrest of Saran and Dhaka is crucial for us to find out how the duo got hold of the question paper before the exam,” said a senior police official.
The Rajasthan police said that Dhaka was associated with a coaching centre in Jaipur, whereas Saran was shunted out from a government job after his name had cropped up in a similar cheating racket in the past.
